With more rockets landing, and more raids being launched, will another round of major fighting emerge?
Will an offensive stop rockets from landing? It seems like in Lebanon it has - but this is a different story. Gaza is no Lebanon.
It'll be interesting to see how the civil strife within Palestine influences future events. The US is backing Abbas and the PLO and pushing for a rise against Hamas.
Despite the raid, Palestinian militants in Gaza fired at least nine Qassam rockets at the western Negev on Wednesday. Three of the rockets landed in Sderot, spraying shrapnel and wounding a young boy.
Meanwhile, the security cabinet, meeting Wednesday in Jerusalem, agreed that the IDF should proceed with preparations for an expansion of its offensive in the Gaza Strip, and that the current operation should continue.
